Incidentally I'm planning on going up there in mid-September to do some late season Bass and Pickerel fishing and I heard that Canadian Goose season opens up statewide on September 1st.

AR15 takedown pin is LOOSE
A new pin, detent and spring are on the way, but the detent and spring seem to be doing their job of retaining the pin itself (so it doesn't slide out) it is just loose as a goose, so to speak. Any ideas? It is a possibility the pin is small...or, the hole for the pin may be a bit large.

The Marlin Goose Gun was the ticket for those shoots as well as winning a lot of the "modified" shoots. ^^^ You got that right, I used a stock Goose Gun for a few shoots at the Millersburg Rod and Gun always went home with a nice ham. Ugly as hell but it works almost every time, and they are cheap if you find one.
